You need wire, and the seat is sticking out of the cockpit with the window. If you still can't find it, download the Freeze Time (no effects) mod, freeze time, and type in console "ent_remove_all func_physbox" and spawn the dupe again, look for the same location the floating seat is in, then unfreeze time and find it.
