@S-Crew I can do car scripts and port the models for you since I have 3ds max and would like to author some cars. If you can provide a proper .3ds file or a completed model and sounds I can finish porting and/or script, but if I help I want to see the 1990 IROC-Z from motorsport 4 ported so I can have that in gmod.

Right now I managed to get one model into .smd format which is very good. The textures are broken though so I'm not sure what's going on there. Still have to get it into .mdl format which is easy to do from .smd format. I just need to learn the complier tools.

That is beyond my power and yes -but they're low res since the game is from 2003 and they are civilian vehicles.
Included would be a Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Tacoma and a few japanese utility trucks.

That's stuff to worry about once I have the models ported from 3ds to mdl. Even though it's very possible, I have no idea how to do it without 3DS max installed.

I don't think that's possible. Porting over MC2 vehicles to 3ds format was difficult enough as is.

I however, still need to understand vehicle scripting (I'm learning) so no, I don't. I have an addon that I'd really like to release, it's all the cars from Rockstar games "Midnight Club 2". I have the models in .3ds format but I can't find out how to port them without using 3DS Max.
