Gesch, its not a planet its a 3KM asteroid. Planets will be completely different and made to be large without killing performance and finally he did not cover it with animated flowers that what Keen Software House did with the grass texture.

I choose grass voxel for realism.
If you want turn off flowers, change Graphics settings preset to low.

Why in the world did you cover this in millions of animated flowers? This planet kills entire servers in dx11.

Hi, scorpinosgamer the report, so cool your planetoids but I have a small question how did you manage to create a planetoid 3km !! I try SETool with the box I can not.
Here is my problem, I'm working on a planetoid with mountains, caves, plains, desert and ocean
the model is almost finished but I can not seem to make it a planetoid approximately 3km.

why not try one the size that they are talking about for a moon do 10km see if it works nicely since moons will be coming out at that size

This is really good. Didn't give a performance hit like i expected. You should make a 4k and 5k one so I can "Push it to the limit!" as they say lol. Thanks for making this.

um no it wont it didnt for me and is the 3000 the diamater in meters or just a number cuz i have a bigger planetoid than this.

Awesome work! I´m just asking myself why there are no bigger Planetoids ? Like Planetoid 6000 or something like that which is even closer to a future planet? Would love to hear an answer.

@grifter: I wouldn't even try that. asteroid radius to volume is not linear proportional but cubic^^ the 3000m asteroid has a 125 times bigger volume than the 600m one ;)

i have a planet miner that im working on going to let it remove this thing and have a look at the amount of space it will take to store a 3000 planetoid in cargo boxes :)

it took 1 hour to cut a 28 meter wide cut and split a 600m planetoid in haff
