Apologies for the delay in the update. I have fixed the scenario and did so a while ago, but I am struggling to work out how to upload it again. Can anyone help?

Here is the official DTG Support reply, (which I recieved today - only the day after sending an enquiry):

"Dear Jonathon

If you place stock overlapping in the editor, when you approach with a train, and the game applies its physics engine to the stock, the overlapped wagons will move away from each other, because they cant be overlapped. When these wagons have others around them, they cant move, along the rail, so move upwards, exploding.

This is a know issue, and can be resolved by ensureing that stock is not overlapped when placing content down.

Well done for finding that. Look forward to the update. Many thanks.

I have found the source of the problem - on the shunting lines, the far right line hada rake of 8 mineral wagons and a brake van. In this consist two of the wagons had merged visually creating one slightly larger wagon (they were very far inside each other). The game didn't register this (understanderbly, as this was a glitch in the simulator) so it thought the consist was its full 9 vehicle length, not the 8.5 vehicle length that it appeared. When you (and I) approached the wagons, it looked like we were 10 metres away, but the game thought we were 5 metres away, so the game thought we hit the wagons at speed, when it looked like we were still 5 metres away. Simple really, isn't it!

I am currently working on updating the scenario, and I will also notify DTG of the glitch.

Which 03 was it (which bit of track was it on?), as I will try to replicate the circumstances to see what happened. Also, have you tried the scenario since, and if so did it work?

Again, apologies for the problems you are having.

No, not this time. I was shunting up and and all stock was stationary. I had only selected the Class 03 so everyhing else was untouched.

When you are in a free roam, all trains count as AI until you click on them, which explains why there was AI. In this scenario i didn't program any trains with instructions, so they should not move on their own if untouched.
I have made this happen before when I 'loose shunted' a wagon (pushed it without coupling to it), and it crashed through some buffers; could this be what happened?

Ah. Apologies for this, I am unsure as to the cause of the problem here. It could be that you changed trains and left a train running, but I cannot be sure. If you or anyone else has any ideas please say and I will try and fix it.

Ended after approx 5 mins as A1 derailment, not that I saw any A1.
