Great work. We nee dsome more modern liveries though. Such as Great Western Railway, First Great Western, Virgin Trains East Coast and Cross Country. Agrred aswell, the yellow is more of an orange colour which is too dark for the tone of yellow that it has in real life.

It's an in-game limitation. Assign it to another line and let the game try to pick the right direction
Also, "Advanced Vehicle Options" by SamSamTS works wonders and is a highly recommended download

It seems to be driving backwards. Whatever way the train goes, the driver's cab is at the back, pushing, not pulling.

Btw, the reason for the flickering seem to be 4 m_effect entries that are added to (at least) the "Train Engine" template since that patch. Taking a look at the .crp files of pre- and post-patch assets indicate that those effects didn't exist berfore the patch. The game's log file (output_log.txt) shows that it doesn't recognize these effects and that seems to be what breaks it.

Hey, I want to give you a quick tip on the flickering problem. Instead of using the standard "Train Engine" as template, use a pre-patch custom "passenger train engine" asset as the template. That's the way I prevented the issue on my latest addition to C:S's railway system. :)
