@apuhc you can subscribe to Theme Mixer, then within the game bring up the Theme Mixer UI to change the theme of your currently loaded game. Download the theme Seychelles and everything will look good. You can find another theme if you like the look of it better of course, that's just the one I like for white snow.

The TTR mod no longer exists on the workshop so I used a replacement mod, and it isn't compatible. Is there a way you can help make it compatible?

The Terrain Texture Replacer mod page isn't available, "That item does not exist. It may have been removed by the author".

You could try making this with a theme instead, that would work better

This is a great map mod but the Europian building replacer (the one that comes with the game) doesnt work for me and its very anoying, does anyone know how to fix this becuse its a great mod and i think it would look really cool with this building replacer,

A tip for those also having water flow issues on this map: Have water treatment plants in the bay itself, WHEN raw sewage from the early stages of the game finally get near the shore lines (therefore buildings for those who like to build on the shore line.) Althought the water treatment plant still dumps 15% waste, the fact that the waste is far less dense, and the water flow coming from the treatment plant itself, will force the thicker waste away from the shore lines. Essentially, you're trading an EXTREMELY polluted shore line for a SLIGHTLY polluted shore line, resulting in far fewer sick people. Also, the property on said shore line retains its value, so the people will actually stay there.

I hear everyone loud and clear on the water issues. I will address them in the next version of this map.

The sewage backs up because the rivers current is to slow.

River and ocean bay need some work. There's barely any flow and sewage backs up.

You really need to improve the river. Its current is so sluggish sewage / pollution actually travels UPSTREAM. I placed my water pump what I thought was a safe distance upstream from the sewage pipe but after several weeks my cims started getting sick. I looked and saw that the sewage was next to my intake. The current is so weak the sewage seems to actually work against it.

@fabian.colossi Unfortunately, yes it will. What I do is if I want to use the default sand texture, I open up \Mods\TerrainTextureReplacer and rename my snow texture something like _sand_texture.png

That one little underscore keeps it from being used, and the game will just load up the default sand texture like nothing ever happened.

If this is a stupid question, sorry, but will it change how sand appears in all of the other maps as well?

@fantasydragon Thanks for the feedback! I'll likely end up creating a version 2 to fix the most glaring issues people find with the map and I'll keep that in mind.

@RoboAsimov I really like this map, but it only has 1 entry way for the highway. Unless I just haven't figured out how to make new highway entrences/exits, this poses a bit of a problem. All of the traffic (cars anyways) in and out of the city will have to travel up and down this 1 highway. At a certain point there is a large load of cars traveling it. Maybe it's just me, but I find it better when there are several different ways to leave the city map. That way it breaks up traffic more.

Very impressive map, the snow is so great.
