Okay, I got it up and running again, but only after deleting its folder and a few of the game files from my computer. Seeing how this started mid-game I'm guessing I somehow hit a key bind that told the mod to stop working when I placed a building (it was working when I placed roads). Would any of you happen to know which key bind it is so I can either change it or remove it?

I got it showing up in the Steam Workshop section of the Content Manager, but not the Mod section of it. It did have a question mark next to it and when I hovered over it I had a message saying that the file path wasn't found. I seemed to have fixed that, but it still doesn't show up in the Mod section, and it still doesn't appear to be working in-game either.

This mod is no longer working for me. It's not even showing up in the Content Manager despite being subscribed to it.

Appparently there is a better mod for this mod. It's called Toggle It!

Is there anyway the game can be defaulted to not be white when you go to place a building? Honestly, I have bad eyesight and I can't see anything while in info mode and it hurts my eyes. It is probably a big ask but I hope it can be done.

I hit letter I to toggle. That's I for Info.

@ Snewo ... If you have a building selected in the bottom menu the info will jump to that building. Something like that.

It's glitching the tabs for example for health, from healtcare tab to deathcare tab is glitching back to healthcare!

@CissyDrinksCoffee If you've enabled the mod in content manager then you only need to click the button in the top left corner. The button that open/closes the infoview-panal.
When the infoview-panel is open, whitness is enabled. When it's closed, whiteness is disabled.

I have just gotten back into playing CS and thought I'd try this one out but alas, this dumb girl can't figure out how to use it.
I double checked - subscribed is good but how do I turn it on so that I don't see all of that white?

After installing this MOD, there is a problem of not displaying the shipping plane's route. For this reason, I have tested all my MODs and confirmed that as long as this MOD is installed, it will not display the routes of aircraft and ships

@BloodyPenguin you are the king!. Are u perhaps working on updating IPT2 ? we really need a stable transport manager mod

@Erke he accepted the PR but I last heard he was trying to update to use harmony 2. Must have gotten busy with irl stuff again. So "leaving mods broken" I can't speak to but "going offline on the modder discords for long periods of time" is definitely part of his MO. Penguin things.

@Erke Asterisk11231s version works for me. I haven't studied the code closly, but from what I can see it's just a fork of BloodyPenguins version with a few lines changed to fix the tour lines. So if that version doesn't work for you, Penguins probably won't work either.

Is this mod really broken? BP doesn't actually leave broken mods laying around.

Everyone here is suggesting the version from asterix but that one is actually broken. At least for me... The mod options page is broken displaying nonsense words.The mod also doesn't work the way it's intented either; when you click underground items like water pipes, nothing happens, you actually have to turn on water overlay manually etc.

I was wondering if people are still using THIS version and happy?

Having said that, as long as you popped out the Infoview panel you shouldn't have any problems building things underground. (it is in "the whitness" you can see underground roads etc. If you toggle it off you also cant see what's underground)

FYI, I'm pretty sure this mod is causing my road construction underground mode malfunction (i.e. when building a road, PageDown key does not work. Underground road is not visible any more). Had to go through all mods by bisection. If you encounter the same issue, hope this can save you some time :)

Toggle It! "automatic info views" are not the same thing. End of story.

The Toggleable Whiteness mod did exactly the same if you switch off Toggle It "infoview", but it is outdated and obsolete by now.

Same time Toggle does 4 other letters available, not just 1. Please check if you have replaced one of the letters with "Invoview". Please see what is my Toggle it setup.

This mod is obsolete. Do not use it. Use instead from my modlist the Toggle it! mod.

Yeah this mod doesnt work right for me, instead it just defaults every single build view to whiteness and you can't get rid of it. I can't even build roads without the whitness and traffic view coming up and it won't let me get rid of it.

This is done by Toggle it! mod. Add info view to one of the letters. Much better to switch off or on this "whiteness", instead of eliminating it.

@engelmohrcarsten - hi, my "fixed version" does this as well. It will switch based on the school your placing. If you are in placement mode, it does still "flip back" as the logic is to be for whatever your placing.

Have the same bug as @Barba. With the Infoview open and set to tours it shows the normal transport lines and not the sightseeing lines.

Also it would be nice if you could have the option to disable the toggle for water (placing pipes).

@Amyr Lin disable the info bar before you enter the tool. If you have Toggle It! you may have to play around with "Automatic info views" or disable it

I am very excited to use this mod because I hate that I can't see what I am doing with it all white when trying to place things. I can't figure out how to use it though. Whenever I exit out of the info panel, as instructed, it exits entirely out of placement mode. What am I doing wrong here? Is there some sort of picture guide of absolute morons? Because that is me apparently, an I need to be walked through this by hand like a 4 year old.
