Cool, there's a mod out there that lets you throw spears. Consider making it compatable.

hey, I will do that in the incoming patch of the stick. great ideas, thank u. will add the wooden spear recipe, and change the recipe of the stick.

I like this idea, a simple stick. I just have one real grievence with it.

That is um.. haha. Really expensive for a stick weapon considering a spear is only 2 sticks a rope and one flint. If you dropped that down to a single stick, 15 damage, and lets just say half of a spear's uses so 75 uses. You'd be golden.

There's actually quite a few enemies that you could beat with unarmed damage and I'd be perfectly willing to convert a stick in the combat tab to a fight stick even though all it means is that I'd just swing much faster. No science machine no alchemy machine.

I do have one more suggestion, the ability to convert a fight stick (unused) into a wooden spear. Make it so the recepie requires a flint. When you craft it, you'd get a wooden spear and a flint, so it'd be like you used the flint as a tool to make it. Increase the uses to 100 and the damage to 25.
