Excellent puzzle. I played RedSilencer's version of yours, the original map, before doing yours, and so it was easy for me, obviously - both versions are good; RedSilencer's version is probably harder to work out, but your concept(s) excellent.

I was doing was doing this wrong at first. Thought I was doing it wrong too. Read some of the comments and I knew I was doing it wrong. (I was offsetting the portals with the tractor beam.) I gave it some more thought and found the intended solution. Very nice! (The intended solution that is.)

Nice puzzle but there is a shortcut Offsetting the tractor beam portals allows you to crouch on the button and recover the cube. Narrower portable surfaces would stop this? See screenshots.

About jgaultney's solution could you add two light bridges to the sides of the platform, with nothing connected to them and Start Enabled is off? like this http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=462696672

I started off with manipulating my portals at first conveying the cube, but I realized the puzzle wasn't to difficult to figure out, It was a fun map to solved!
