I would love to see how it is being used, so that I may try to improve on it.
GREAT WORK so far! :D
That is ironic that you'd say that I still care.
I do not understand why you say "WE are providing advice..." when it should be "They" as you never provided that advice.
I also never stated I expected you to download every mod you see without knowing what they do, nor was I even directly talkling to you or knew you even existed. But yes, it was a public comment and you did have a right to say that I was in fact talking indirectly to you.
However, as I can see, you do not want to continue this, and neither do I. And as you stated before, the author already fixed this problem. Let's walk our separate ways, and move on.
It's pathetic that you still care. We were providing advice for the author here. He took that advice. Steam workshop has a space for descriptions for a reason. That reason is to use it. Do you really expect me to flip through every mission/mod and download them first before I even have the slightest idea of what they do? A description is the first step in deciding whether or not I want to invest any time into it. All successful missions/mods have a decent description.
Once you download it.
You will need to unpack the PBO.file of this. To find it on your computer, you will need to do this: ( C:\Users\JOHN_DOE_\Documents\Arma 3\Saved\steam )
You will then have to unpack it using one of these fine setups:
1. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369&highlight=PBO%2BMANAGER
or
2. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=411
You would then place that sqm.file inside of your mission folder.
( C:\Users\JOHN_DOE_\Documents\Arma 3\missions )
If anyone here knows of a better, quicker way of doing this. Your knowlege and expertise is very much welcome on this subject.
P.S This was not the way I wanted the community to have to access it. Sorry for the inconvenience if any.
It isn't asking a lot to test the mod yourself? It's pathetic that people will sit here and complain and refuse to actually just do it theirself because of "inconvenience."
It's hardly unreasonable to expect the contents and functionality of a mod to be clearly listed.
Thank again.
It isn't asking a lot to provide a short description on what this does.
Sorry, but untill then it's a thumbs down.
