Your simple metro mods made my city much more realistic!
Metro runs at -4m, -12m and -24m. Roads and rail run at -12m, -24m, -36m.
So Metro can always go over road and rail (no conflict at -4m) and road and rail can go under Metro (no conflict at -36m). Hope this helps.
I am having heaps of trouble with the metro in my city now that we can have Highway tunnels. Even though the metro layer is meant to be at -4, I find my tracks conflicting with my highways at -12. For this reason I'm thinking about taking the subway deeper to -36, the same way they've done it in London. THe only problem is getting the metro platforms this deep. Any way you could make a couple more variants (My preference would be a single -36m platform and a cross at -36 & -24.
Appreciate it, your 4 platform metro is already helping my city move!
For SimFirehouse's (MTSE) tutorial all about manipulating the paths.
@ Overlag
Traffic++ and MTSE use the left shift key to allow selection of the 3,4,5 and 6 platforms.
I do not have the Blender/modeling skills to get close to those that are on offer elsewhere (I am still learning how not to alter stuff I don't want to in Blender!).
I thought that getting these out there so that others can take them forward would be best.
A big, good looking, 6 platform metro station would be perfect for placing beneath my new central station.
