so is this a car or dpes it replace the helicopter? can you make a version of this for helicopters so the disaster helicopter and the fire helicopter also medical helicopter?

No problem, it worried me a bit but I had fun tracking that error. I think I'll be able to restore those saves after I rebuild my assets library, now that I know AVO is the solution. As for my RL problem, we'll see, if they can be solve they will be solved, if not then there's nothing I can do except to deal with it. Such is life, there's only so much a man can do, we just have to enjoy, have fun and try to be happy while we're in it. :)

What this little experiment told me was it will just remove the asset from the game if you disable or unsubscribe from it. I tried to recall which mod I have subscribed, from before I cleaned up, which might be affected when certain assets are removed from the game. I'll try to continue with this experimentation while adding my previous mods and assets one by one. I cannot promise that I can tell you which one it might be, since those are a lot of mods and assets. But I can tell you with bit of certainty that this asset alone was not causing the error or if this asset was actually the one causing the problem. I can surmise that a mod or an asset that is tracking this asset in-game maybe is the one that's causing the problem or it might be a whole lot of something else.

Now I was curious how the game handles when you disable or unsubscribed to the asset. So I subscribed again, enabled it and proceeded to play the game a bit until about 2,206 population. I can see that the police station has spawned 2 of this asset, the patrolling police count was 6/10. I saved the game and proceeded to unsubscribe to this asset. Then went back and load the game. This time when I clicked the police station, it indicated that there are only 4/10 cars patrolling.

After I unsubscribe and cleaned up my addon folders, I re-subscribe to this asset, then proceeded to create a new game. Waited till I was able to create the police station, 900 population. Then waited some more for the police station to spawn this asset. And waited a bit more for the asset to roam around a bit. Then saved the game and quit to main menu. Proceeded to disable the asset. Loaded the game and it went fine without the error. Quit again and enabled the asset and again load the game, and it continued without the error. Now I created a new save, making sure that the asset is still there patrolling in the game. Quit and proceeded to terminate my subscription of the asset. Went back and loaded the saved game. Still it continued without a problem.

@Morlexious Update - I unsubscribe to all of my mods, assets, luts and maps, removed all my saved games as well as unpublished assets from the Import folder to a backup folder. Then I subscribed to this asset to see if on its own it will create the error that we have encountered. Good news is it did not. The bad news is that I don't know what might have caused the repeating error message.

@Morlexious Hi, I'm sorry if this asset has caused you problems. I'll fix it but currently I'm having some RL problems, modeling here in CS and playing was a way of helping me cope, but now it is stressing me a bit more, not just this asset but my other newer unpublished models (buildings and vehicles) are having some other type of problems also.

I actually was able to duplicate the problem, but in my case all my saved games are now fried, even if I re-installed this asset I still cannot load my saved games, all of them are now unplayable. I am not sure what the problem is at the moment cause this is just a simple model asset, I didn't even change the default settings for a normal police car, this is just an alternative model for it.

I hope for your patience and understanding. I'll try to update here the moment I found out the cause and hopefully after I fixed the problem. If I'm unable to do so, please help me inform others that this asset is broken. Thank you.

Uninstalling this mod gave me a repeating error. Crashing my power grid. Making my city unplayable. Reinstalling the mod was the only fix I could find. Can't even just turn it off. Please look into this

@erickg162 Its an alternative police vehicle, it will not replace existing ones, wait for a while and it might show up.

well there's no way to get the models out of it i already tried.

@BLAde Nope, this was based on a futuristic scene drawing I think I saw at deviantart.com . But man, anno 2070 has got some sick models of futuristic vehicles and buildings. I am tempted to purchase that game, but I don't think I have the time to play it.

@Razzle4duz I am not sure if its possible to do that yet, but let me know if you've heard that it can be done. Yup it would be cool if it lowers when they parked then hover and fly around when they patrol. :)

Awesome! I especially LOVE your description, making up a whole back story for this hovering police car. I eat that kind of stuff up in droves. Makes me have a little story running through my head as I'm playing sandbox games. Great job, keep up the great work!
