@baby with a gun demoman already has 2-handed melee animations for the swords, p sure this would just use the same animation set as those

as much as I love this, I don't think it'll get added in, simply because valve wouldn't be willing to add new animations AND, needless to say, a new weapon

Great idea! Demo has swords, a war ax, and even a golf club! Why not a demolition hammer? Or two...

Yes! Perhaps similiar in function to the Homewrecker...but this is not a charge weapon. Yes, the Demoman has a lot of melee weapons, but to really use those, you HAVE to be a Demoknight. I feel this weapon is for the explosive-Demoman

There is no escape from the hammer time. Valve must add this.

while the main argument against it is that demo has too many melees, this isn't just a sword, or an axe. It feels like it should be a weapon to use without needing to charge.
