Let me guess... Flying Spaghetti Monster? lol You'll have to use 'Fly Spaghet Mon' I guess if you want that religion. I actually know a guy who has a tattoo for the Flying Spaghetti Monster, guess he takes it pretty seriously. He also says that white South Africans deserve the genocide against them because apparently they were bad to black South Africans in the past, or some nonsense like that.
I never tried to make the religion names lnger than 15 characters, but yeah, the mod works great for unit names and city names. For units I like to number and date them as they're made and track them as they upgrade.
Warrior I 4000BC Swordsman I 1000BC
War I 4000B Sword I 1000B LS I 800A
(LS means Longsword)
W1 4000B S1 1000B LS1 800A M1 1300 R1 1750 I1 1890 GW1 1910
After the first AD I stop using it to save space since nothing comes after AD. I'm kinda OCD in how I like to date things and it seems to have crept into the Civ games. I also number and date my cities as I settle/capture them. I almost ALWAYS play games on the 'Accurate Earth' map which generally automatically changes the city name to whatever major city is on that part of the world, which is nice, but I often check Google Maps myself to make sure it's accurate. This has greatly helped me to learn more of world geography, as it turns out.

Would you mind updating the mod again with an easier way to use it? I have already tried other solutions, but I didn't manage to make it work...

You MIGHT want to look into a mod that lets you rename units at will, too. Even before promotion, you just have to left-click em, you can rename your very first unit on your very first turn, which I'm sure you know is generally impossible. I'll try to track it down for you, maybe once combined they'll sort of... activate themselves together? I don't know, I'll take a look.
Anyways, great mod, thanks a ton, and yes, it does seem to work just fine with the EUI thing which allows you to edit unit names BEFORE they've been promoted! So stoked to learn the differences to this game now!
THANK U!!!!!!!!
what you said almost worked for me, when it was a WinRAR pack all i had to do was to unpack it
Thanks!
Navigate to your documents folder, then "My Games", then "Sid Meier's Civilization 5", then "MODS". In there, you might have a file with the name of the mod, along with the extension ".civ5mod". CHANGE THE EXTENSION ".civ5mod" TO ".7z" and EXTRACT THE FILE into its own folder. It worked for me, so it might work for you.
