But, I have a problem with most of the pre-built train tracks und highways. They are not really beautiful for the eye. Most of the highways are not close to parallel. The train tracks are not smooth but bumpy as hell.
And if you only use 25 tiles mod there is an ugly highway right outside buyable terrain at the coast. I think I have to use 81 tiles mod the first time to fix that.
Anyway .... yes, I'll try to use the map for a new city. Thanks for creating it!
@Hoxton: Draw water from the lakes, not the river. I was able to sustain up to 40k~ pop while barely making a dent in one of the two.
@MrMiyagi, I'll try that out for the map I'm currently working on. Hopefully it works.
@Beam, I'm glad you like the map. I have no clue what you're talking about in the video, but it's always interesting to see how people tackle the same terrain.
I hope you'll be able to fix that, maybe by adding some "water spawns" in some of your river beds in order to create a better water flow through your rivers.
Awesome job man!

Ultimately, though, it's not a huge issue. I haven't seen the rivers bottom out yet in game, the only way I noticed it was sitting in the editor at 99x speed for a while. The issue may ultimately resolve itself over the course of several hours, I haven't really looked.
Thanks for the complements, though.
