As for yappy118's comment on potions. I do agree and see your point. But if you don't want to break down potions it’s as simple as not placing a point in that particular perk. Or, that story about the egg could be your excuse for that if you roleplay. After all, Skyrim is a land of magic and dragons. Why shouldn't we be able to separate one element from another like oil and vinegar? Sure it would likely not be stored in the same way, that’s where the meta-gaming comes in, but it is still technically possible.
All of that being said, complaints and complements included, this is a good mod. As with anything it can still use some improvements but so far it is very good. ^_^
If you could make this an option instead of just integrating it into the mod itself that would be great. Make it, say, into a perk or an option through the MCM. That would likely work better in my opinion.
It would also be very useful if you posted, somewhere, what can be smelted down and what recipes along with what potions could be broken down and into what. Not in game but out of it, for example here in a forum post or something similar. That way we could know what to save for smelting even though we don’t have enough mats for smelting it right now on us, and what to discard because it’s not going to do any good. It would also allow users to comment and say “there should be a smelting/cooking recipe for this item <inserts name here>.”

(dont know if compliment is a word)
Why not implement the ability to melt down one's enemies into skooma, so that eliminating them in their endless legions is actually fun?
