why is the city flooding?
well to put it simply some idiot decided it would be a good idea to build a canal between lake lachrymose and a nearby river the canal was badly built and it busted its banks

@Citizen 2017 - gm_floodinvasion10 requires the models and textures from Half-Life 2. If you don't own Half-Life 2 then that might be the reason why you're getting model and texture errors.

If you own a copy of Half-Life 2 then might I suggest unsubscribing from this addon and redownloading it to see if that makes a difference.

@U SOCIALIST! - After pressing the button, the waterlevel will begin to rise, and once it rises to a certain height then the Combine and the Rebels will begin to spawn.

@redsky195A - They use the default Half-Life 2 weapons. If you've downloaded a workshop addon that allows them to use custom weapons then you'll have to spawn them in.

This is a good map, I would love to see a remake of this without so many enemies or the water threat. If one could get rid of both, it would be fantastic.

I was able to restore the original upload from a few years ago thanks to the latest GMod update. Do with that information what you will.

@reallygoodlife - It's working for me when I press it in singleplayer. Are you sure that you're using the "use" key on the button instead of firing at it?

@MRJAHOLE - You activate the wave by pressing the "use" key on the button found next to the generator on the roof in the middle of the map.
