ya, that sucks. i whas hoping to re-create the 7 hour war, but the military people amed at the striders legs and not the main body. so i wanted to get backup, but it kept atacking me. thumbs down.

the Apache ignores, ignore player, so it doesn't go for snpc's/npc's

But it would be unrealistic for a Helicopter like this to take damage from low caliber weapons like pistols. Some heavy snipers, maybe penetrate, but you mostly can't take this thing down without explosives

So I was mislead by a video I watched. It showed someone killing this with basic weapons, not explosives. I was excited cuz the Hunter Chopper can only be harmed by explosives, so a more realistic chopper was long overdue. Is there a way to make this take damage from things like the basic HL2 pistol?

Use NPC Tools if it fires at you with Ignore Players on.
Select Notarget In NPC Tools and press R to select yourself.

The fact that it can is very powerful is great, but the main problem with it is it targets the player instead of the other npcs. It also doesn't help that it can still see you if you have the ignore player command on.

plz, slightly nerf the weapons, allow it to attack npcs, and make it stop when you click 'disable thinking' or 'ignore player'
