How is this Different then stronghold maps/castle. I am DL both but would like other peoples feedback which is better for around play which one has less bugs !!!

It works with italian language too (I'm Italian).

it works for most mods. I like this one better than stronghold of the samurai.

Hi, love the new maps, great mod. However it doesnt work so well in seige battles, the AI gets stuck a round the sides and sometimes the gates refuse to function. (resulting in me surrendering since i couldnt rout cannons outside the castle).

TLDR: Great visuals but AI gets stuck or cant navigate through it.

This mod only works for forts and strongholds, not for fortress, castles etc.

does this mod work in multiplayer?

Mod seems to be more of a game killer than it is cool in its current state. Sure the maps look cool but they often (siege battles) cause the AI to have no idea what to do. Several of the castles have so much clutter around them that the AI get stuck or don't engage at all because they can't navigate through it. So even though castle battles are usually an easy win, this mod makes it a cakewalk to win. I'm not sure if this mod is still being updated or not but my feedback is just to look through it and widen some of the pathing around castles and ensure the AI knows how to actually get to the castle and can navigate it fully. Biggest offender is the map with the deep water all the way around the castle and a village with lots of trees on the hill.

With friend try play with this mod on multiplayer but after try join to game have error about not same version. We both have steam version and same mods [ only Beeter maps part 1 2 3 and UPC-Better_Maps-Polish ]. Someone know this issues and know how to fix it ? : )

@BA_Yorkie The cause is not the trees, but the buildings (except maybe in kyoto). Don't expect to play with good fps with this mod if you are already struggling to optain good fps in the vanilla game. Just put your settings to low instead medium or high.

Remove trees please, my fps is very low on these maps, even tho I run on med-high machine

@Hunter2k6 This mod is compatible with darthmod, and doesn't affect land battles, or the campaign map. So sorry, but this mod is not the cause of your crash. Maybe you have a mod in "movie" format (active, but not listed in the mod manager)?

@Frodo45127: Is this mod compability with darthmod ? I only tick Better map part 1-2-3 and darthmod ! For now , i try to persude the invader , but when i think everything will be ok as long as i went to the enemy island , my game keep crashing again O_O

This mod good , make my campaign change so much , but when i try to defend my allied ( Awaji-Sumoto clan ) in their small island ( next to Tosa island ) , the game crashed wherever i choose to fight the enemy in their island ! I don`t want to play as start , any ideal ? By the way , i am playing as Tosa

@spacefishmanben Last time I check (some months ago) it was compatible. Unless the author of expanded mod has done something in his mod, it should continue to be compatible.

Will this affect the maps on the campaign? Because I'm tired of seeing the same maps on the campaign. It would be awesome to randomly stumble on these maps during the campaign!

@Ben, as alek4ever says, it replace some siege maps from the campaign. In the twcenter link there is more info about the maps.

Yes, this is aimed at adding more variety to the campaign maps. Including siege (Dunno about open field, but I think it does).
