报告翻译问题
Some authors prefer be accredited the rest prefer the "Ask me permission to make this model x thing" even if it is from another game (especially in SFM and XNA users), but I must admit that my statement over none of you Asked me permission was very out of place since only be accredited was enough for me.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he shouldn't credit you, in fact I think it's the proper thing to do. I just find it a bit silly when people get worked up over it. I totally understand why you'd want to be credited as it is your hard work being put on here, but saying no one asked permission is an odd statement in itself when you didn't "make" this in its entirety.
If I make the port I would prefer be accredited for that (is my work and this models uses my same .vmts, directorys ,etc), since I credited Guerilla Games, MrGameboy20XX and Luxox18 (who extracted the model) over the capture trooper is necessary that you warn where'd you get the model, because one thing is that you ported the model but accredit where'd you got and the other that you take the model but do not give credit to the original authors.
I've had many problems with several authors (SFM and XNA) who were upset with me about porting some of this stuff (mosltly models to other games) to gmod because they did not ask to permission from them first and many companies do not care about their models except that are being sold for money
And of that rule of 3, all ported models over gmod workshop it would have to be removed because none asked for devs of that games and only the gmod workshop only use TF2, L4D and HL2 stuff only.
