@Avalon304 I believe you have to place along a road, the use the "Move it!" mod to move to the desired location.

Try having the airport layout shown above on the workshop. Just make an intersection with all the roads in there current state and show us where to put the assets.

@spiritblue Thanks, I used concrete paths and the roadtype from "zonable pedestrian paths"(that mod might be outdated/broken so see if traffic++ is better for you.)
