I just updated this today! I fixed the shading problem that After Dark caused by editing the normals. They should look like they did before now. I also changed the trunk of the tree to be a bit more round and added a color map to add brightness variations. I updated all the trees that look like this model. Enjoy! Sorry if they don't look exactly the same as they did before, I had to adjust the scale and probably didn't do some correct rotations. :chirp:

Yea I really like the color of this tree. It's slightly saturated purple on the temperate maps though.

Sade, thanks for the suggestion... I don't think i'll be doing that tree even though it looks cool. I just have a bunch of other things I want to do.

DRen72 I don't think i'll get around to that Conifer either, Id rather do stuff that hasn't been done yet. Thanks though, hope you continue to subscribe to my stuff. :)

Nope, I have no plans to change how these look. I just finished the last one today, I'm looking on to do some other projects. I can't please everyone. :)

Hey man, your Palm ones are awesome, but these Jacaranda and Cherry looks like papermodels, they simple look odd in comparison with the vanilla trees. Have you any plans to make it more 3D like? Only a suggestion. Great work. =)

Yeah, I really like how especially in brisbane the skyline goes from gery with hints of green to grey with hints of green and purple, really adds colour to the cities.

Yeah, it's a very Australian thing for Jacaranda trees to bloom and drop flowers everywhere in the Summer. I've only ever lived in Sydney so I don't know if it's like this anywhere else, but we do have a childrens' song that goes "When the purple of the Jacaranda tree is here, Christmas time is near" or something like that.

I never realised they weren't actually native to Australia. Interesting.
