Is this playlist still available?

That's correct, this is just an external Spotify playlist. The linked workshop item is just a URI for the playlist. There's tons of copyright issues that prevent me from adding these song files directly to the game.

The songs aren't getting added to the in game playlist. The troubleshooting guide said restart and I did, nothing happened.

The "electronic super joy" playlist fits the game perfectly. throw 3-4 songs into the folder and it will spice the game up (if you legaly paid for a copy of the game and its contents like me).

Just a suggestion, maybe look into using SoundCloud instead, Audiosurf 2 uses it and it syncs perfectly with the game (all the lights and stuff) :)

@UrsisGladius - not if it's played via Spotify, because I can't access audio streams external to the game. Yeah it does that but it doesn't sync to the game which I thought it was going to do. I guess I just misunderstood what was meant to happen

If you select it in the Workshop dropdown, doesn't that open Spotify and load up the playlist?

Oh that's a shame, I thought it would make the lights work with it and stuff. What do you mean by that? It opens the Spotify program but there isn't anything in the game except for a drop down menu with it in under the "workshop" section.

It's basically just a shortcut to open Spotify to this playlist - you'll have to turn down the in-game music manually. Is there an issue though where the target Spotify playlist isn't visible?

Can't get this to work, just opens Spotify but music continues to play in the game. There's no option to use this playlist in any of the menus of the game either.

@Tokyo Banana - so you're pressing the 'play' button on the audio settings panel, Spotify opens up, and then nothing happens? Not sure there, but do you see the Disco Dodgeball playlist appear in Spotify at least?

You may need to restart the game so the item fully installs. You'll also need to install Spotify if you don't already have that.

Thanks! Although any of these external playlists are not cleared for video recording in the same way that the built-in soundtrack is, so you may run the risk of copyright strikes if you record this external music in a gameplay video and post it on YouTube.

Music is awesome, ill be sure to add it in if i make another video.
