Hi! I've been having a problem with this park. It says there's no road connection/ path connection even tho it's placed on road/ path.

What are the stats, its size, etc?

Ok I removed a few props and added some more people markers, should start to see more people now. I also moved the lights closer to the path so you would not see the dirt patches so much. Didn't notice it last time when I was working in the dark.

I will check it out again soon. I'm pretty sure I added gathering markers.

Its looks cool. but no one visits it. Everything around it is very popular but this just sits there and looks neat. Bug on my end?

it's because you have a deluxe or preorder edition of cs, usual edition doesn't have a botanical garden fountain.

This is so cute! I love it. Makes everyone happy and looks great in my park areas.

I already tried that aubergine18, It doesn't work good. The game automatically makes LODs for trees and there is no way to make a custom lod for a tree. So when you zoom out a couple blocks away from the balloon it turns to a grey ball of distorted pixels. This is why I went the route of a park.

If you save the balloon as a tree prop, and then use the 'tree' in the park asset, the balloon will move around gently in the breeze, just like trees do. Think of the connecting ropes as the trunk, the balloon as the branches... ;)

I'm with Soklay. If you can figure out how to have the balloons float around, even if its within the 4x4 square, that'd be amazing

It'd be cool if it could be like tropico and have the balloons floating all around, but that's probably not possible in this game...

do assets support animated parts right now? it would be great if the balloon could go up and down once in a while - or at the least, have different elevations so we can choose!!

Yes WhippyCleric, It adds happiness like regular parks do. I basically took a Botanical Gardens Template and reduced the stats a little bit. :)

Does this add happiness like a normal (balloonless) park? Because that would be a nice feature, I would definitely be happy to have a lovely hot air balloon nearby! :) It's so pretty though, even if it doesn't , I might just add it to my city anyway :D thanks for your hard work! ~ NekoEmmi

I already tried making it a tree, but the LOD was sooo bad when you zoomed out that it would turn to a grey ball when you zoomed out hardly at all. It was my original idea to make it a tree to sway in the wind and it did look cool, but sadly we are unable to have custom lods for trees. I even spoke to a CO developer about the subject. Finally I had to resort to a park to have the best experience. This is why I added the ropes to the balloon, because it doesn't move and the ropes make it feel like its supposed to be stationary like that. I tried playing around with different heights without the rope but it just didn't feel good.

This is really cool. Is the prop treated like a tree and thus woobles in the wind? It might look a bit funky but it might be cool to try!
