BTW one possibility, besides a lower tri version, for yours (and I may do this with my barrel) is to release another version that's a little below grade so ppl can set it down on the street and it won't look like it's floating. Someone did this with some other on-road reflector devices...they just have 2 versions of each

I don't know how other countries' traffic control systems work, but in the US, this would be incorrect. The orange barrels are only used in roadwork and construction, since that is what the color orange indicates. So instead we use Impact Attenuator Sand Barrels, which are painted yellow. Which indicates warning and caution.
