I see there are 1x1 indents near the back of the gun, are these planned to be conveyor ports? (Seeing as I cannot connect it to any conveyor tubes or containers)

@ArchangelMichael This version is not compatible - check out my ISM Mega Mod Pack - is it's DX11 compatible :)

You know, I built a landing gear/connector link for a small to large ship converter way back when, specifically to let me broadside with the bulldog. . . But now I see this and I want to go re-fit that destroyer.

i can only rotate on one axis i can't put it on the side of my ship where it will clearly attach to the conveyor and then rotate it so the port on the gun lines up with the conveyor. there at least needs to be a mounting point on the conveyor access that allows for rotation on all axis

just like the vanilla guns, you cant place them upside down where the gun would be the only one being attached.

you want to default its placement to the mountpoint, therefore, you cant rotate it the same

I don't know why but i can't rotate this block like i can with other guns i have the same issue with the longbow.

the reason people tend to say things are OP is that they are hit with it and cant fight back because they werent as set up in the first place. a good ship can fly without half of its systems, theirs cannot, thus, to them its OP.

Where's the ammo feed on it and how are you supposed to use it outside of creative mode? There's no obvious interaction points to feed the ammo into it.

You need to shorten the length (grid dimensions) by one block at the rear, the model is one block short leaving a funny hollow area behind it on my ships.
