As for your second qustion, why would other nations get the mandate of heaven? The mandate is a purely Chinese belief.
Ming's ships and armies are (disputed) the most advanced, or atlest one of the most advanced in the world until much later, after Wanli got lazy and shit (actually even at the end, some parts of the ming army was still pretty powerful) . Also could you add an download link for the newer version cuz steam is buggy.
@Zusk Sure :)
I will make sure to credit you, of course c:
So, say that if Ming either owns all of Indonesia or all of Southern India and has access to Great Britain (either from a British colony or the main home islands) it is possible for the event "The Opium War" to fire. Basically Ming can choose to enforce her will upon the Islands, declaring war with a vasslization CB (even if they are too big to vassalize), or they can choose to find other methods of penetrating their markets, giving a relations penalty to Britain and having a nother event fire later, maybe a year or so.
Since the war one is on top, the AL will always choose that, but maybe you could make it so that, if the player chooses correctly (because by the 1600s China is a beast as a player) he can force Britain into a union under Ming.
Well, I wouldn't say Undisputed, but they were pretty advanced. A combination of Eunuchs holding power, Incompetent Emperors, Natural Disasters, Internal Conflicts, as well as other small factors led to Ming's inevitable decline and downfall. I'd say by Mid-Late Ming, Ming China is definitely no longer the most advanced nation in the world.
Thats why we need to make it less Eurocentric. :)
@Taenggufan
Its basically a (less common) way of saying "Chinese Folk Religion".
>Game is called Europa Universalis and takes place during the most prosperous European period
Okay then. I'll give this a whirl.
EU4 vassalage system is not working in this area.
沒有啊。我是香港來的,而且我的中文差,因而比較喜歡用英文。:P
