I was looking around the Nexus page a minute ago to find something, and I found this mod which is basically the same as my re-upload, but the bug that people kept complaining about has been fixed. Din Jhin: Then the armor isn't improvable, well you can make it improvable using Creation Kit! My work on this mod is done, if you want to make it improvable for your own personal use, feel free to do it.

i took it to the workbench in Whiterun but I don't get an option to improve it which is strange because my Smithing skill tree is 100%

If the barrell is not showing up, open console and type help sauron. next player.placeatme (enter the code for saurons armor) it should spawn the barrell

If anyone has problems with the armor being black, favorite it and equipt the armor that way. I had the same problem.

I encourage people to explain how to fix it, because is not my work, i've tried to contact the mod author. But, the real mod author from the sauron armor isn't here anymore.and I don't have the knowledge to fix it.

The easiest way to fix the black armor glitch is to hotkey it. the textures are always applied when equiped through a hotkey

i've tried, and i realise that some mods make the armor buggy. try to dosable all your mods and then try again, if not, tell me.

For some reason when I put on the body piece for Sauron's armor, it came up as a muddy, really low resolution splotch in the shape of Sauron's armor.

I cant find the barrel so i do the "help sauron" in the console commands it doesnt give me the id for the armour, any help with this?
