If it still does not work you can try installing the mod manually from my ModDB page. Follow the "Description" section for the installation instructions:
https://www.moddb.com/mods/hw2r-classic-vo/downloads/hwrm-classic-vo-complete
omg XDDD and ion cannons...would be turrets
p.s. Sometimes you'll find Mods section empty, even if you are subscribed. Just restart the launcher and it should be ok
Captain Sobanicide, I actually would like to fix that but unfortunately I did not figure out how to add that static effect, though I know that it is some kind of VST applied by the game engine in real time. Any help would be appreciated.
Rottenflieger you can also check out my other mod, which restores classic Fleet Intel VO :)
As for clarifying the description, rephrasing it to say something like:
"This mod aims to restore the authentic feel to Homeworld 2 Remastered by replacing the redone Karan S'jet voiceover with the voiceover from the classic Homeworld 2."
^ That would avoid any confusion :)
I respect that you prefer Jennifer's voice, but your description needs clarification. It makes it look like you think Jennifer was in HW1.
Have a great week!
I can respect personal preference. I like the original actor better, but that's personal taste, right?
@MortalDanger
Ok... Now I assume you don't understand English, actually. See, the voice actor that originally voiced Karan S'Jet in Homeworld (The ORIGINAL game) was pregnant by Homeworld 2 (The SECOND game). Now because she was pregnant (Had a child growing in her belly[uterus]), she couldn't deliver (say) the lines properly. So they had to scramble to get a sound-a-like. This sound-a-like voiced Karan in Homeworld 2.
If you couldn't understand my proper grammer and spelling this time, please read it again slower. Or, perhaps you could just be less rude the next time you're not sure the meaning of what someone said, k?
