ah, after a while I've discovered a plugin for ePSXe called SpyroEdit which allows you to export the skyboxes as .sky formats, then using another program called "Spyro Skybox Editor" you can convert them in various formats, including panorama and cubemap pngs.

There's no cubemap export, unfortunately. I just took 6 screenshots in the Spyro World Viewer and lined them up to make a cubemap. :)

how'd you extracted the skybox textures? I know those are saved as objects and stuff, but I'm going nuts trying to find a way to extract those as cubemaps png

i remember when i use to have spyro on the ps1 i still have 3 other spyro games 2 for the ps2 and 1 for the wii

@Xiron Yep, that may have worked. But this was my first map that used a single model, and it came down to me just not knowing what I was doing. I made a point to figure out what went wrong and do a better job with my Artisans map.

Why not consider making the ground and walls seperate objects? That way there can be more collisions.

that mofo kleiner reminded me why i hated this level! still spyro is one of the first games i ever played so thats why i hated this level but also loved it ! thanks for bringing this to gmod

cool you used blender there is away to port charactors from spyro from blender some guy took the LOS spyro from the legend of spyro dawn of the dragon disc dont know how he did it but this map looks cool dont worry about lighting garry's mod has light bolbs for that lol

@Chili Peppers Yep, I'm getting lots of request. And unfortunatley, right now neither props nor characters can be ported. Only the maps so far, as that is all the SpyroWorld Viewer can view.

While I never played the originals, Enter the Dragonfly was a game I loved, never could get past the snowy mountain with the monkeys though, ah well, perhaps Spyro is why I love dragons so much. Nice work!

Verry nicely done map, but there are parts of the map that have no collision, inside the stone alcoves in the trees, as well in the the walls of the broken stone tower.

Best map to be made into Gmod for a while..
One thing though is that the inside of the trees can be fallen through.
(you can walk through the walls)

but other than that this map is amazing I hope you make more Maps :D
