Torn banner seemed to break more than they fixed with each update.
Anyway, you should all be playing mordhau. It's chiv minus the exploits, unnimersive mechanics and horrible class/weapon balancing.
So far only multiplay have it added to their list of mods.
Also so far i can only get the punch speed x2 to work.
(other features only work on offline mode due to some coding bugs)
So i might update this mod over the next few days to simply v1.0 Boxing simulator.
2x punch speed feature with a reduced punching damage change being implemented next update. I don't want to do anything overly ambitious, not that i know how hard coding is.
However i can safely say this does work for dedicated servers and offline mode strangely enough.
What i'm ultimately saying is its possible and not to hard to do, but its impractical because we lose types of punches just to have more animation variations of less types. However i see why your asking that to be implemented and that does bring me on the subject of stances. Something i'm looking at learning how to implement. If i can create new stances i can completely change the animations and add things like southpaw stances for example for each class. so you can have different boxing styles to choose from rather then different weapons. I'l be adding that to the 1.2 features list once 1.1 is complete and released (1.1 update is about 1quarter done so far so be patient people!)
2. so far the only attack without a left alternative animation is the jab (which im gonna switch to the left soon), uppercut and overhandright punch. If i make the overhandright punch or upper cut ( Alt scroll down and scroll down) have alternative animations i need to choose one out of the two due the way this game was coded. I can't add any more attack animations without taking current ones away. I suspect this would piss people off no matter what i choose to get rid of.
1. Make people take partial damage from blocking (blocking punches with your arms will eventually add up if all you're doing is blocking).
2. Add all animations for both hands (This may be really tricky and I understand completely if you just say it's way too hard to implement, veing lefty this may help me XD).

Untill i do get those proper jabs coded and release version 1.0 of the boxing mod, May i reccomend you Use the kick boxing simulator with no kicks as a rule when your fighting friends either in your own server or on LAN. It will be the closest thing to boxing untill i release the boxing mod in alpha! ; ) (it should feel 100 times more like boxing then it currently does without any mod lol)
You can't block a kick yet but thats a good idea! I shall ask my coding teacher how difficult it is to add a new blocking animation as an Alt block. The only way i see kick blocks working is by creating an Alt block you can hot key without changing anything in the controls menu. However I'm still not sure its possible. no one has added more attacks or types of blocks to this game yet and my coding isn't very advanced I'm still learning begginner stuff.
As for your second comment,
The purpose of the damage being changed to 20 is so the kick can be used as a strong weapon. Kicks being unblockable but not as fast as punches mean they are now ideally used to the damage and wear the opponent away over time if you have better timing, reaction and can move in and out of distance to execute a kick then get out of range of the opponents.
Try box a kick boxer in a sparring match and you will understand what i mean by that!
I hope that explains why i changed the damage to 20 non resitance damage (unaffected by armour). But incase that didn't i must add Its also to make the kick more damaging then a punch because tests have proven kick boxers can generate allot more force with a kick then a punch.
This is also the reason kick boxers use their legs more then their arms in proffetional bouts. (well most of the time anyway, theres always the odd expection)
As for the blocking they are already hard enough to execute, they require good aim and positioning to the players body, so if your good at positioning and using your footwork its not that hard to move out of the way of a quickkick!
