The only problem I see with this interchange is that it doesn't offer any way to reverse your travel direction.

This thing really does work amazingly well. I'm sure in real life it is wildly impractical, but its made my traffic sooo much smoother.

I put this in my city last night for kicks just because I wanted to see how it would work in the midst of my industrial traffic Armageddon. I was surprised by how incredibly well it's holding up! Excellent flow and looks terrific to boot. 👍

Although I'm confident that this will handle large amounts of traffic, the only flaw that I could see with this particular design is that vehicles may need to frequently change lanes in order to keep going straight. Even if they aren't as compact as this, I'd probably much rather use the more straightforward full diamond interchange designs (such as this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interchange_%28road%29#/media/File:Knooppunt_gotisch.png) , which cause traffic to flow just as smoothly, but with less lane-changing required afterwards (and only 2 levels with which to stack highways and ramps: ground and elevated). I could probably find spots to place U-turn ramps within a full-diamond interchange, although given how traffic works in Cities: Skylines, I doubt I'd need them when I'm also using service interchanges to connect my districts' arterial roads to my superhighway system.

It took some careful studying, but I believe I now understand how this works:

- Want to stay straight on the highway? Take the central branch. On the other side, you should emerge on the left lane.
- Want to make a left turn, or a U-Turn? Take the left branch, then at the fork, bear right for a left turn, or left for a U-turn. Afterwards, you should emerge on the center lane if you took a left turn, or the right lane if you took a U-turn.
- Want to make a right turn? Take the right branch. You should emerge on the right lane afterwards.

its an amazing interchange but could you make a larger one to acomadate verry large amounts of trafic so i can stope modifying these wonderful things
