I edited it with ship routes all you have to do is raise the sea level slightly put the routes down and then lower the sea level agian

If your buildings / lands are flooded, try removing your waster water treatment. I had issues with water pumps drying out the lakes and the city running dry.
At other places I experienced sewage flooding the small rivers :)

Just make sure to spread it all out a little

Really nice map which is very fun to play and fits my play style perfectly:)

There is a really annoying glitch where random areas on the map seem to be underwater (buildings have the drowning symbol), even though visually they aren't. Im not sure if this is to do with game mechanics or if its to do with the map, but i just thought I'd let you know

When I tried to put more roads on highway roundabout that's already on the map, it wecked havock on canal next to it. blocked it by making land for new road. I think maybe canal must be a little wider, just maybe.

Uh, i have a problem with this map. I'm getting constant errors. They're the type that I can just exit and keep playing, but I can hardly go a minute without another popping up. I love the map, it's just i can't play it.

Definitely my favorite map so far. Just needs shipping lanes. I personally like the raised freeways, Gives you the option to run avenues underneath.

when I made my map my experience was that not deepness of the canals allows for ships, but rather only water from the ocean. so what I did was to temporarily raise the water level to put my whole map under water, then layed down ship paths over my rivers and then put the sea level back down, waiting for the terrain to clear and ships will continue to go along their routes

LOVE this map. The canals look fantastic. Would love to see version 2 where they will allow ships. But this one is great. :D

Thanks guys. Amberes - the second version will have wider and deeper canals allowing for ships. Hoplite - Thanks for the feedback. I personally haven't had any issues with the interchanges, but that could be due to how the cities are laid out. In version 2 I'll move the highway a bit back, and amke the starting area larger. As for the flooding, I haven't noticed any of that either, but I have noticed dams don't work too well. Wider and deeper canals with more flow on version 2 should fix this.

You did a great job on this map my favorite city so far. I only had 2 problems while playing one was the interchanges should be changed to something more practical with heavy traffic all trying to merge onto one roundabout it gets bogged down. The other problem was whenever i tried to buy new land a flood would happen and part of the land would be distorted. I had to load an earlier save to correct the problem. Whenever I bought the same peace of land after the first try the problem went away.
