i keep forgetting that there arent any jetpack acceleration improvements, only nerfs/slowdowns - if i wasnt lazy i'd probably code up my own that would boost the jetpack acceleration to. i guess around double?

A thing about hardware damage or software damage, you would be considered 25% responsible, the other 75% would be the person who downloaded it in the first place. And hardware damage would be unlikely. So if anyone tries to say "Your mod broke my Computer" That is very unlikely and almost impossible. I know this has little to nothing to do with the item it's self, just pointed it out. save damage is also unlikely. Overall I've used speed limit removers before, no issues at all.

Any way to set up terminal velocity on planets with atmosphere? Unknown signal probes seem to either crash themselves on Earth or pass through it entirely.

@NickBeNible, This isn't entirely true.
The reason Light is affected by black holes is partly to do with the bending of space-time. But also partly because gravity is in fact energy atractingother energy. This mistake is commonly made and understandable.

Fyi Light quanta (photons) are massless, black holes dont pull in light by passive or active gravity directly they bend the geometry of space to near infinite values.... photons follow this geometry.... check general reletivity for reference if ya really want:) and anything with mass at all would require infinite energy to achieve c., check special relitivity for that one:) @Lucerne your high school teacher is wrong sorry mate, mine were wrong more times then i can count

Having the same problem with ships getting totally out of control. In the comments of another speed limit increase mod I found a hint that a connector on a small grid ship is causing the trouble. Got right back into my creative world and removed the connector from my ship. I was able to travel at about 700 m/s without any issues. Large ships seems to be unaffected.

So recently my ships have started to spin out of control if I exceed 200 m/s. This didn't happen before any idea what could be happening? Perhaps an update or something messed it up.

For those that assume light (photons) are massless, they're wrong. It has a mass, it's just as small as it can possibly be. There's a reason black holes are black, their gravity is strong enough to gather light, nothing escapes. Photons are considered massless, but they have to have some extent of mass to be affected. This is all around quatum mechanics, I know very little in the aspect, but I do know what I've said. I was taught that in highschool physics

wrong @Purphoros - Warp does not mean how many times the speed of light, on either of the 3 warp scales.
Warp 10 is on two scales the "theoretical maximum" where all spaces are occupied at all times in all possible states, essentially infinite c.

The warps in Star Trek refer to how many times the speed of light. Warp I is 1.0x2.998x10^8 meters per second the speed of light.

@Music Master thats the thing, that statement right there and other is the only reason I bought this game, and to think that we are limited by a physics engine that is older than the halo series. Since the physics engine was actually used in it... Havok is over 16 year old, you think they would use somthing more modern? So that high speed collissions werent buggy,

Save it as a blueprint and in the blueprint menu choose submit ;)
For a blueprint face the ship directly and press Ctrl + C.
