I loaded it above this mod on the list, as in SE the higher on the list means higher priority, hence the mod on the very top is loaded last and often wins conflict resolutions with other mods (ugh, took me a few days into my mod journey to figure that one out.)
I loaded up Creative, created some Carbon with Voxel Hands (texture works), mined it, and created the resource 'Diamond Bonded Glass' that's required to build the windows. For whatever reason they appeared as completely clear glass, no hex pattern (or scratches/reflections that vanilla has).
Personally I'm waiting for them to realize that glass shouldn't be a translucent texture at all, but a shader effect, like pretty much every game since Doom 3. A light refraction effect looks so much better than dust and scratches. I'm surprised that we finally got full PBR, but glass is still no better than a game from the 90s.
It sounds like you'd prefer the game's development to stagnate.
its 100% clear, you would only notice the glass is there by looking at the trim
Due to the constant flux of Keen's glass rendering I have been holding off updating for a while as it was changing faster than I could keep up. I am also hearing lots of contradictory reports, probably due to different graphic settings.
If you feel the transparency/render is currently incorrect, please post a screenshot link and the date it was taken (I may ask for further settings info but no need to include by default).
Thanks!
@Captain Dawnbreaker: Keen glass renderings are in enormous flux this year and for a while were changing weekly. This is absolutely something I will fix but only when all has settled down. I'm also hearing very varied reports of performance on different graphic settings.
Like heavy armor blocks, when and how to use them is part of the design challenge; you can't build a light nimble gunship out of heavy armor as it will more than likely be a brick, same goes for this glass.
If however, we are talking a big slow battleship or better yet a vulnerable space station where mass doesn't matter quite so much...
@Mike Loeven: Thanks for the report and good picture - making windows airtight while allowing oxygen to actually still flow past them inside is currently a very difficult system; it's a choice between relying on the in-built calculations, which as you can see, tend to fail or just turning oxygen in the whole block off rendering them useless in tunnels etc. I keep meaning to update the sloped glass anyway, will have a look over to see if there's anything else I can do.

you dont have to appologise for me
making carbon glass lighter then many tons sounds rather relistic
dont see how its whining to ask for realism
but you have to agree
41 additional tons for a small canopy on a heli
thats just mad
