i dont understand why after my city get big why are there none garbage truck spawn after. Because its make my city full up with garbage and people will their apartments.

CyberVibes, there's a max vehicle count - so if you're using 81 tiles and have no traffic despawn then garbage and funeral vehicles won't spawn in

Doesnt work, and was posted and never updated since 2015. I think the mod is abandoned at this point.

This mos doesn´t work. When I activated it and loaded my city, I started to have entire waves of garbage, even though I put an incinerator in each block, and when I deactivated it, everything was already perfect. This mod works fatal.

@xeluth according to the source code he provided, it cuts the maintenance cost by 4, NOT the garbage itself.

Seems like garbage notifications have gone through the roof with the expansion, even with this mod enabled. Not sure if it's working or not, or if it's an overall change to the game.

Colossal's garbage simulation is, well, garbage. I agree with BayneRav: ridiculous amounts of garbage, requiring HUGE fleets of garbage trucks, which add to the whack traffic simulation.

i find it abit unbearable to need a total collection of 100k tons of storage for a city less than 2k population, granted using a small civic recycling center and one vanilla landfill yet even at 2k pop the landfill is already 200k of its 8mil storage with no sign of slowing.

Does this affect any other mods?

There is another mod which actually reduces garbage production. This mod should be renamed to something more specific about what it does, like "Less Garbage Costs" for example!

I think people are overlooking how this can help with the current garbage issue. By lowering costs it doesnt hurt nearly as much to have multiple landfills. Until the devs decide on if the garbage situation is out of whack this can certainly help a lot.
