No idea why some people get issues with this map, I made all my maps with the world builder application and uploaded through that. Was many years ago now though so can't remember the exact name of the program - but it was the official one. None of my friends had issues using my maps back when we played.

Yeah, for some reason it just downloads a Planet RA56H (v 1).civ5mod and an empty folder.

Anyone had any luck getting this to load? I've tried subscribing and Steam direct downloader with no success. No issues with his other maps that I've tried.

how can I play the map? i have BNW but can't find the mod in the mod menu

Turbulence? How about changing it to cryogenic failure? The whole ship is cryognically frozen breaking all electronics (except guidance comuter located away from most other systems) and colder tempratures cause memory loss in colonisits. Re-entry heats the craft back up and wakes up the colonists who don't remember a thing upon landing having to rebuild civilisation.

Not sure if everyone knows but the back story is just for fun, better than nothing. I know fine well it is not movie material, or makes sense.
