Could it possible to make a Micro antenna ? I ask mostly as to have more compact antennas for a missiles I'm working on. There are 1 small block antennas but something like your micro programmable block so Antenna would be more like half block or something?
BeerKegBob 18. okt. 2023 kl. 10:04
These still work. Awesome... just tested them out. They could be just a bit bigger though
BeerKegBob 18. okt. 2023 kl. 7:08
Does this still work?
Thorn Blackwell 10. mar. 2023 kl. 9:21
When Automatons comes out I hope you make a micro version of those blocks. It would be awesome to shrink some of those down, so the gawdy icons on them don't make everything ugly.
Jack Schitt 9. jan. 2023 kl. 1:56
Yeah. I noticed now that I've used it. It still has the same collision and doesn't allow stacking within a 1x1 block space where it's placed. Still very cool! I was able to use these on the outside of my ships, remove the vanilla PB's from inside somewhere in the build (I usually try to hide them) and used that space for other things like more cargo. Thanks for taking the time to make and share it!
Digi  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. 2023 kl. 1:34
Not sure how this solves that :P It's got a single mount side and thin, it's very to the control panel block. See last screenshot on how it looks on a 1x1x1 battery.
Jack Schitt 8. jan. 2023 kl. 18:03
I was looking for a mod that allowed the vanilla programmable block to be placed on more than one of it's sides as well as allow things to be attached to it from more than just the bottom of it. This is a great alternative solution!:nzdf_star:

Micro remote when (:

@CheekyMonkey
What are the errors exactly?
Skallabjorn 4. dec. 2020 kl. 2:17
I love the fact it now has a micro screen on it as well
Digi  [ophavsmand] 13. nov. 2020 kl. 22:19
@Lighted Shadows
Sure I guess :P
Lighted Shadows 13. nov. 2020 kl. 17:17
May I use model on private unlisted server Mod?
CalDaug2020 13. nov. 2020 kl. 0:52
Okay, thanks for your advice :D
Vas 12. nov. 2020 kl. 21:37
Yea, after we realized how hard coded the game is and that modding will never be improved, we all left modding it eh? :P
Digi  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2020 kl. 21:10
Nope sorry, not really doing SE mods anymore :P The keen discord likely has people that would make your idea a reality, check out #modding-art there and make sure you mention that you want someone else to make it as that is usually a channel to ask for help in making it yourself.
CalDaug2020 12. nov. 2020 kl. 11:43
I wonder would you consider making a half-height LCD screen mod? As in just a basic LCD screen that is mounted to the bottom or top and is 50% of the height of the default one? So it would fit nicely on the short-side of a half-block
CalDaug2020 12. nov. 2020 kl. 11:41
Wow had this for ages and only just noticed the addition of a screen! nice!
Vas 11. jan. 2020 kl. 13:44
Think you can put this behind the programming block or in the same category as it for unlocking in progression tree? I think after would be better for this one, as its a smaller more compact programming block.

Also you forgot to add a USB C port. :| How am I supposed to connect my phone! D:
CyberFoxx 14. nov. 2019 kl. 5:35
Just noticed, the side ports got upgraded to USB3.0. lol
Love the addition of the screen though. With scripts that have some form of debug output, it really makes it look like a Raspberry Pi/Arduino/etc box.
Titan Nya 14. nov. 2019 kl. 2:13
loaded my world and saw a screen on it so came here :D

Well another script that i use wont need to have the screen part that crashed put into comment now :D
Well now need to put them all in the right side up tho...
DeAnti 13. nov. 2019 kl. 20:01
thank you for update
CyberFoxx 13. nov. 2019 kl. 14:59
Wow that was fast!
Azirahael 13. nov. 2019 kl. 14:44
Yay!
Devlah 13. nov. 2019 kl. 10:30
Awesome work Digi! Thanks for keeping this alive.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 13. nov. 2019 kl. 10:28
Yep, updated model, has a screen now too and tweaked definitions, details in change notes tab.
CyberFoxx 12. nov. 2019 kl. 22:39
Would it be possible to get an update for this awesome mod? The model/textures look a bit weird now with the whole PBR engine (The screws and LEDs don't even show up anymore) and having skinning support would be nice as well.
Devlah 6. apr. 2019 kl. 7:10
Well that's a relief. Good sorting programs are hard to find, and I REALLY like your MODs.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 6. apr. 2019 kl. 5:08
It seems to work fine here, I just loaded it into a powered micro PB and it counts down in the detail info, so it certainly self-loops.
Devlah 6. apr. 2019 kl. 2:07
This is the script I was using. I'm about to try again just to verify. It's possible that the problem was just some sort of isolated glitch, but we'll see:

Digi  [ophavsmand] 31. mar. 2019 kl. 0:01
I tested it with automatic LCDs 2 and it runs fine (no timer block ofc).
If you tested your script on the vanilla PB and there it works then please link the script :P
Devlah 30. mar. 2019 kl. 17:39
I realize it's been quite some time, but I really do enjoy this MOD. However, recently I discovered that for some reason, this version doesn't allow the "Timerless" operation that vanilla PBs have. I tried putting the same script in a vanilla one, and this one, and the vanilla ran without timer, but this one didn't, which is strange to me because I thought it was simply a matter of having a smaller footprint model which shouldn't affect anything.
Gibson 27. sep. 2018 kl. 5:52
Would it be possible for you to create a heay-duty version of the mod, that would be able to survive a crash, but cost 20x more to build for example?
Adler 26. juni 2018 kl. 0:47
Love these, but it doesn't make any sense that they need a large steel tube to build.

Perhaps remove the steel tube and motor and make it require 5-10 computer parts instead?
Dark_453 20. mar. 2018 kl. 1:36
@Digi, Well this has the same issuse as the micro timer block. Im not gonna repeate the comment, but i have already replaced all my PB's with stocks. hope you manage to find the issue, (feel free to contact me if you want my world or ect to help track down the problem)
Runagate 31. okt. 2016 kl. 23:15
Looks really nice and a lot less ugly than vanilla small ship PGs. Thanks for this mod!
Iomega0318 14. juli 2016 kl. 6:26
So just got around to using this in game and omg they are "micro" haha, love them though! Keep up the great work :)
Hawkfellow 8. maj 2016 kl. 8:49
Love your Mods Could you make one for a micro projector, so i can use it as a diagnostic chip/ system on my ships
lylesonders 2. okt. 2015 kl. 12:16
cool thanks for the fix and I agree with Ced23Ric.
Ced23Ric 2. okt. 2015 kl. 4:03
You are, by and large, my current favourite modder. Thanks, m8. Much appreciated.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2015 kl. 3:47
@Ced23Ric
Ah pff, found the issue =)
There were 2 issues, one was that it was reading the texture from somewhere else (a path that only I had so that's why it worked fine for me) and the other was something wrong with the material on the mesh which I had to re-add for some reason.
But, at least it's fixed :} mod updated.
And I believe the reason it didn't happen in DX11 is because LOD doesn't work in DX11 in SE.
Ced23Ric 2. okt. 2015 kl. 2:53
Yeah, I can replicate that no problem.

DX9.
Empty World.
Only your mod.
Small ship.

lylesonders 1. okt. 2015 kl. 21:36
I also experience this but mostly ignore it as I have a small room that contains my computer core. ie all the programmable blocks and timers placed on electronic panel
Digi  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2015 kl. 18:15
@Ced23Ric
I've got reports for that before but I could never replicate it, I tried it again now and it's fine, it might happen in specific circumstances :-? can you try in a new empty world with just this mod and see if it still happens ? To eliminate the possibility of another mod affecting it.
Ced23Ric 1. okt. 2015 kl. 6:19
Hey Digi, can you check please why the blocks in DX9 become white after some distance? It seems like the LOD models don't have proper textures. It would be great if you can address this - right now, I have a bucnh of white pockmarks on my ships unless I cuddle them. Much obliged.

Great mod, otherwise. We need these things. Thanks for all your hard work on these QoL items.
lylesonders 25. sep. 2015 kl. 12:11
Cool I will ask if he can fix it. Love the versitility that the electronics board gives me. I place my program block and timer block in one row then in the row below it I place a tip slope LCD and use that for the information. I also use it to make a miniture LCD display wall that has various information on multiple LCDs in one large grid block.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 25. sep. 2015 kl. 2:02
It probably can be corrected in the script itself so ask the author(s) about that, usually PB scripts just get blocks from all connected grids, that script could filter other grids out intentionally.
lylesonders 25. sep. 2015 kl. 1:49
Thanks I closed out of my world without saving so hopefully when I load it back up everything will be back in place. on a side note...I have noticed that when this is placed on your electronics board, some scripts don't recognize the large block grids...example the jumpdrive status with images, the programmable block has to be placed on the large grid where the jumpdrive is located or the script cant find them. This is probably a game / grid thing and can't be corrected but just thought I would mention it.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 24. sep. 2015 kl. 18:25
Yeah, found the issue, updated :}
lylesonders 24. sep. 2015 kl. 17:14
Think the newest update killed this and the micro timer, I had both installed on my ships on both the large block and the small block to large block mod, all disappeared and when I tried to replace them they would not attach to either I get a green box but when I try to attach them there is nothing.
