I used 3Ds Max with the Wallworm toolset to export them to SMDs, then wrote a compile QC file for them, compiled them with Crowbar, and used Photoshop CS6 and VTF plugins for it to set up the textures. After that, I used VTFEdit to set up the VMT material files.
(dunno how well versed you are in these things, but this is the conversion process at its core)

Hey, I was wondering (if it doesn't bother you) how you were able to get these models into SFM? I have Halo models but have been having a hard time actually getting them compatible with SFM, did you use a specific program?

Lock 2 spartans together, make one your primary, and the other your secondary color. Set the body groups for one to get rid of the chest, helmet and arms. Set the other spartan to only show the chest helmet and arms. You can mix and match body groups to change the color scheme.

When I paint the suits there are white marks. Is there a way to change those or is it not possible?

I was wondering if you can fix a issue with some of the models. There seems to be a blue bar that is out of place and it moves with the upper right arm and clav.

The two models contain bodygroups to change the armor.

:/ Whenever I download any of the packs from workshop, it only downloads two of the mdl files and all of the bodygroups are empty except for one. (This happens with all of the armor sets) These look amazing and it sucks that I can't use them. Again if you have any way to help me, it would be great. Thank you.

I don't know why that happened, try redownloading.

Yes, at first. Then I unsubscribed from all of them and only subscribed to this one and the problem appeared. When I go into source filmmakers' folder and open the workshop file, it has the halo4 file in it. When I open the body groups, only one has something in it, the others are empty. Again, if you could help me, it would be awesome. Thanks.

The only bodygroup that contains spartans is group02. The rest say they have no .mdl files in them and the little preview box shows error. This problem only occurs for this armor set. If you know any way to help me, that would be great. Thanks.

The models use bodygroups. Right click on the model, then select the armor you want under bodygroups.

Download the color script, then use it as a rig. Simple as that.

Copy it, right click on model, then rig, then load it or choose it.
