cant interact with doors in main haill? have V4 version from google drive link you posted-extracted contents to KF folder- not sure if there is a UI issue or something either, but can't pull out any weapons, no indication of what to do

it's not really a puzzle, you just gotta have enough grenades to get the job done. The grenade launcher + an ammo box is all you'll need :)

Really enjoy this top tier map with surprising closeness to the mansion, with the bois, would be cool to see it in KF2, but then again it would be cool to see a listen server option there too.

no the map works for everyone else, suggest you take the crash report somewhere that deals with support issues. Of course I'd suggest get a fresh copy of the map and disable other mods you might be running.

The 4 man team worked so well, you didn't even need a medic most the time which surprised me. Everyone just so damn good at killin. You got some randoms join in wave 6 which could have been a disaster, but it's even cooler that you pulled it off on a pub server.

The main reason for the patty buff was because people are going to abuse pipes anyway, so might as well balance around it. But maybe I should have reduced the buff to about half of what it is, and only give the usual minute or so of arm up time. Not that I have plans to make changes, its annoying for admins.

You just need to hold up and fight for a while, it needs a few good players, probably someone as demo. It will be obvious enough when the door opens on 1F (the only one you haven't been through yet). When it opens you want to get through it fast because the enemies will just keep coming. There is no requirement to kill the big FP but it's easiest if it's taken down before the other enemies come flooding in.

what locked door should I check when the fleshpound comes out? And whether it is necessary to kill the big fleshpound?

not even 10 comments below is the solution to the Chaingun mismatch issue. Its pretty simple and nothing to do with the map - your file is different to the one the server is hosting. This is what happens when people release multiple versions of a file without numbering them.

i tried join a server that had your map on it and it said fail kfchaingun rematch or something

I used to tell people to figure it out themselves, but oh well. At the very start, walk up the stairs, turn around and repeatedly shoot 1 of the 4 targets

Yes there is! Server has a different version of the chaingun than you. Delete the file: KillingFloor/System/KFChaingunTurret.u
When you join any server hosting this map, it will download into temp cache, the file version that the server is using, and thus you can join servers with different versions all you like.

@Driftwood: I'm getting an error message on some servers that load it up. Sometimes depending on the server it will say "Failed to load URL: Chaingun Turret Mismatch" is there a way to fix it?

Are you pretty good at this map? We need a few good players to buddy up and take on the harder difficulties! Namely...HARD. I don't know how do-able that is, but, getting to the boss fight is starting to get pretty easy on Normal when there's even 3 or 4 good players (even with people who havn't done the map before).

How can this map be hard on normal when lvl 6 zerks / sharps demolish everything in one hit? :DD

About map - at some points you have to wait waaay too long. Map says go find crests -> you enter the coridor -> sit there for like 5-10 minutes -> doors open. This is a bit stupid and boring. + there are lots of lighting bugs, i.e. black doors, objects, etc.
And the FP spawns at some points - its a bit too much for harder diff'-s, better spawn them in duals but with delays. Not throw like 4-5 fps at once.

This map is insanely difficult even with level 6 perks on Normal! Playing on Beginner is a godsend since you can actually complete the map lol

I am open to suggestions regarding the server difficulty setting, but for now Normal will do, until I start to see people actually finishing the map.
