I was talking about fighters with a crew of 1, but without their important components exposed.
For example, some of my first fighters:

The screenshot is old, i've made even more improved versions of them and with even more armor and firepower, while keeping them maneuverable.
As you can see, all of the fighter's components are covered by at least 1 layer of armor, keeping them protected against incoming gunfire, and sometimes missiles too, by the way, you should post bigger pictures of your ships and views from different angles, it would seriously help people to see better how your ships look like.

To each his/her own. For me, it's a small "fighter" ship, so it's not meant to be all big, bulky, and carry a bunch of crew.
