Actually, I did have that in mind with the whole roleplay map thing. I'd actually do that in the future. As for some inspiration, well, the map is loosely based on the neighborhood I live in (at least that's the idea). I don't knock that, though -- I wouldn't mind doing that since I don't know each house from the inside-out enough to minimalize them. If you're going for the walls, I can understand that. They're a temporary place holder in the two-story house.
As for the static props situation, however, this map is actually a pose map, and it was originally meant for personal use by me. I've actually made similar things, but they never followed through and consisted only an interior and a backyard. It was even cs_office-themed at one point, consisting of everything you'd find in cs_office (minus the inferno bed and a kitchen).
Also, this is tagged as a build map?
Also a lot of the props are static, I would suggest making them physic props if this is going to be build map or not having props for a roleplay map (most RP houses start empty).
