Mind updating this for the new patch that Klei released? You can take a look at what "Goat Slice" did with his "Reign of Runts" mod for guidance, since he is the only one who has updated their character mod so far.

I think thats dumb how he can eat monster meat but isnt considered a monster. At the very least you have his name start with a W like all the other characters (maxwell's real name is william).

Changed my name from Foxrai to Calico Griffiin (related to my polymer clay creations account - if You like hand-made items You can check 'em as well :) The name in modinfo's will be changed as well later.

As I promised there will be black fox character before Christmas. Already working on it. But there will be another bonus character mod incoming as well! I've got some time now, so they shouldn't take long ;)

Sorry that's one of the things I wouldn't change. I know well that foxes don't only eat meat in real... But they don't also walk on 2 legs, do they? It's just for making it a little bit harder ;)

I'd like to make suggestion here. Add berries and other some vegetables eatable for him ( if you want for others too ) quote from one of wiki "These animals are the opportunistic feeders and they primarily prey on lizards, rodents, rabbits, earthworms, fish, mollusks, mice, fruits and berries, snakes, voles, hares," if you read carefully you can see foxes eat berries n' fruits. Just reduce value they give you. For berries maybe to 5-10 per one c:.

Also the same with Wakkari's staff. In DST Bell Staff has it's full power only in Wakkari's hands. For all others is just useless, weak weapon. I'm also hearing from many other, younger players and other less experienced ones that making Wakkari and Wayrra eating meat only (no fruits, ice, veggies blablabla) makes it harder to play for them. Saw that several times on random servers. So... I was trying to think of it to be NICE to play for everyone. Experienced and new players.

The Orb Staff is a sacred item of Wayrra's tribe and only gains its mythical properties (the light) while in the hands of Wayrra. Anyone who picks up the staff other than Wayrra shouldn't get an infinite light source, if they are then it is bugged and I will need to fix it.

And still, these two characters are without a doubt, by far, among the best character mods in this workshop! Thats why I want them a bit more balanced early game, so too not snowball.
I was NOT trying to attack your skills or these mods. Just mentioned what I PERSONALLY consider badly balanced.

To clarify, and correct my previous comments. The cost for Wayrras staff is balanced, also WHEN you can start crafting it (kinda late, also aquiring blue gems takes a while). The cost for Wakkaris staff, well its questionable if the cost for it is balanced.

Wayrras staff is however an infinite light source, which in itself is quite strong, BECAUSE, and only because she starts with it for free. There was a reason for why willows lighter recieved durability.

I also think that because Wakkari has such an high speed he also should not start with the weapon (which if, correct me if I am wrong, is basicaly a tentacle spike in terms of damage). Because it makes the beginning of the game so much easier. And I do believe that mixing high damage and speed from the get go ruins the balance of the beginning of the game.

1. These are foxes. Not wolves. Thank you for reading.
2. Both staves are balanced for the use in DST + they are useful only for Foxes. The characters ARE balanced according to their atributes and statistics in general.
3. Not changing anything. Ice staff with 5 uses is insane, because you can easily obtain normal ice staff with the blue gems. It is the way I wanted it to be and it will stay that way. They are not more OP than regular Dont Starve characters.
4. Appreciate you liked the graphics.

I'm not sure what you mean by unbalanced. The staff on each of the foxes requires the base component of a spear/ice staff respectively in order to craft them. How is that OP?

The staffs are really OP on both wolves, which is a shame since IMO these have amazing art :) They look as if they were made from developers!

But staffs that three shots pigs from the start while also lasts quite long and is insanely cheap to make is not balanced ;). And ice staffs that has tons of uses from the get go, which also can be used as an infinite torch is also not balanced :D

The ice staff should have at most 5 uses while being bey expensive to make. That way it justifies it being an endless torch.

luv this fox tho this mod still has a minor bug, whenever anyone with backpack/piggy bag/krampus sack in my game tries to make some additional backpacks/piggybags, there are nothing made up, just ingredients wasted. Ive got 10+ charactor mods in my server and this one is the only one makes the server bugged. a shame.
