Ok, it's working perfectly. Thing is that I thought (due to screenshots on Gage's mod) that the 1x was a simple, sleak round thing. But as your screenshot here also shows, all 1x replacements have that big bulky thing on the top-left of the scope that only obscures my view a bunch. Do you know of any models that don't have that and are instead just round (kinda like the one in your last screenshot), perhaps one you've published?

You got it right, because the newest mod you subscribe to overrides the models and textures of the mods that you subscribed to before. It may be working fine even without unsubscribing from XPS, but it's better to be sure there are no conflicting mods.

You're saying I need to unsubscribe from that, also, then subscribe to your "Gage's Aimpoint Pro (Worn) without dust covers", then sub back to the one I linked? I don't really get why I'd need to unsub from that one though.

You don't need this mod then. You should unsubscribe to the mod for 2x, subscribe to Gage's aimpoint and then subscribe to the 2x replacer again.

What if I already have a mod for the 2x model?

I want to have Gage's aimpoint that you made (coverless) for my 1x, and use the other mod I have (which replaces the entire model with another one) for my 2x. So, I'd need to sub to this also? That wouldn't mess up my other 2x mod?

This replaces both 1x and 2x red dot. If you want to use some other replacer (like ACOG or CompM4), you should subscribe to this mod first, and then subscribe to whatever replacer you like.

Same goes for Gage's aimpoint.

USERS OF THE 1x OR 2x RED DOT OPTICS REPLACERS PLEASE NOTE:
If you want to use this skin for just 1x red dot, subscribe to this mod first and for the 2x red dot mod second.

That bit confuses me. Does subscribing to this mod only replace the 1x red dot scope with a cover-less one? Is that the one in the 3rd screenshot? Or does it also replace the 2x red dot model with the texture edit?

Also, does your cover-less "Gage's Aimpoint Pro (Worn) without dust covers" mod replace the 1x red dot model?

@Farengar: I already asked him, and he said he wasn't planning on making one. Also, MrBrightside is fine with retextures and reskins of his work, as long as he gets credit for the original.
