An simple script G-Mod needs on the Workshop is one that restricts item and prop spawns for dead people.

Probably, unless that's just for Garry's Mod. Source engine has in built in too.

Yes, to others (or in thirdperson) your character will play an animation, and the weapon drops at the moment in the animation that's looks like you're dropping something from your hand.

When i bind a button to drop the weapon, and then i press that button, there is a delay before it drops the weapon, when i installed this mod before, it dropped the weapon instantly. is it supposed to have a delay?

@groovnbean You need to either type swepdrop into your console or bind a key to it with bind [key] swepdrop , replacing key with something along the lines of backspace , mouse5 , etc.

It's up to the weapon developer to correctly make the world model for any weapons, so essentially yes, it is a problem for the maker of the weapon to fix.

Why are certain weapons suspended in the air and unfreezable when dropped? Is it a script issue with the maker of that weapon, or a bug with this addon?

@Cone Prone nope, sadly rebinding is an unknown command. so i cant play Gmod.

i accidentally binded this swep with Q (spawnlist button)
now i cant spawn anything in.
i tried F1 which is also a spawnlist button but it doesn't work.
(and, yes i have tried uninstalling and installing the swep)

This addon also provides support for the "drop" command. You also may have another addon that creates a "Drop" command for you. Do your research before calling other people's work ♥♥♥♥. Thank you.

What if you have a weapon you don't want, or you're on an RP server and you want to give a wepaon to your friend? Normally you have to just kill yourself, but now you can simply drop the weapon you've already been holding on the ground.

What does that have to do with anything? Of course you can spawn sweps. This isn't a swep spawning addon. It's for dropping the ones you already have...

u know u can just right click the swep in the q menu and click spawn with tool gun
