you should download and then crack open Medieval Shield SWeps ( http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=876639677 ) and see how it blocks bullets. hope this helps.

oh! here's an idea for making it block, you know how you said it the riot shield works cause it's considered an actual object? what about you make this weapon spawn an invisible actual object to act the same way?

Also the riot shield works at blocking because it's considered an actual object (spawned infront of the player) not entirely as a weapon/shield (being held).

I should be able to update it today (soon), just know I haven't done ANY extra work on it: It doesn't reflect bullets, it's purely cosmetic.

Might I suggest merging this with scripts from mr ibizza's riot shield? that shield works at blocking gunfire, somaybe you can migrate it to here? of course, your likely going to need to get permission.
