ah I get ya now. but is it still distracting? I mean my updated version (that I uploaded just yesterday) here . I changed it there, it is 99.9% unnoticeable in first person now.

@Urik- Thanks for the reply, and well, I know the particles aren't necessary, but most of the weapon replacements I use, use your particle effects, so I'm in a bind, unless there's a way to disable particles for just this mod.

@People like grapes I'll look into the textures. I remember that I went for phong cuz selfillum freshnel ranges didn't work with envmap, otherwise I'd make it reflective. The normalmap I can redo. The vgui icons I did alike Splinks and others, slightly colored (it is desaturated to some extent). Are updated particles still distracting? Try with new particles support addon (one of last file in my workshop). Anyways, if you don't want particles, it is not necessary to use them, it will work without them.

The speculars/vmt setup make him look like he's made out of rubber instead of metal or polymers, and why do the normal maps make the blood splatters look indented? Also, the vgui is colored, which makes it stand out against the vanilla icons. Could you possibly make a version without particle effects as well? Since they're very distracting in first person.
Aside from those errors though, it functions well without any noticeable glitches, and it's pretty awesome/funny with the voicepack.

@Martan_Blazkowicz probably not, Splinks rigged it and I'd likely screw up if I re-rig in to nick. But I might do another KF skin for nick
