Cleared Monk thanks to you! And I actually liked Monk a bit with this also instead of it being just painful. I like Bolt even more though. But she is a bit easy compared to Monk so it is weird to have her unlocked by clearing with Monk.

I just died 80 times trying to get through Zone 1 and picking up gold when my focus slipped for a moment.

Then I downloaded this mod.

23/10 would crush the Necrodancer penniless again.

A lot of mods are doing that for me too, but about 75% of the time this one works for me. So it has to be something with the game. Keep trying! .w.

Thank you! After close to 40 hours of picking up gold out of instinct it is very hard not to. Even when I try to concentrate on not picking it up it is still so easy to slip back into old habits when the action gets intense.

I think it depends on what you get out of playing Monk. If it's simply the style of gameplay, that's fine, but if you do prefer fighting off the reinforced urge, well... just don't get the mod.

Cirom, gold still eliminates movement to many spaces as monk whether you have a mod to show you those spaces aren't viable or not. I assure you, playing monk is still very difficult and still a unique playstyle even with a ui mod that indicates how dangerous the gold on the ground really is.

This will probably help a LOT of people from instinctively picking up gold while playing as Monk.
