I would recommend putting human resources on high for this one, even if 2 vs 3.
Top left is a good spot for a player to do vs AI's, any other place is probably suicide. However, it's huge for no reason and only has 1 way to block entry to the base. You don't start with enough stone to build anything good, but there is stone in your territory. Repeat, there is stone, it's just hard to see.
If i was alone vs 4, I'd have no chance. As it stood, I had the Slave King as an ally (top right). As expected he chunked horribly, which was fine.
The other 3 starts are fine, if they are allied together. Again, the map is huge and mostly empty space, so travel, especially with slow units (duh) took too long. Basically reinforcements were not going to happen. Might as well just send a 2nd army. Advice: artillery destruction on everything, then commit troops, as you won't be able to replace them quickly.
