Crashes the game as of 12/20/2020

this mod crashed my game upon joining a world because the asset for the miner hat turning on wasint there/the folder was nowhere to be found. this mod is broken thus i wont use it, heres the error text i get when i use the mod for a new world: WARNING! Cannot find file for hat_miner_on.zip in any of the file paths.

There is still a miner hat crashing problem, and some clothing items dont work such as the hibernation vest.

I have no head when I wear a hat, and the game crashes when I try to craft a top hat. Maybe it broke with the update?

The dapperness.lua is no longer available, as its functionality has been merged into the equippable-component. No need to add it separately anymore. That's probably why it breaks.

If I knew how to mod DS or DST I would attempt to update a lot of mods that have been abandoned. Sadly I do not but if I did make a mod and no longer wanted to work on it I'd try to get in touch with another experienced modder who could help keep the mod up to date. That's just my opinion though. Be nice to have this even more now though since now we can have Reign of Giants servers.

Why make a mod if you won't commit to it and keep it updated? You should at least try to find someone who will keep it updated in your place. I don't understand why creators of mods make mods then abandon them one day. If you know you won't be dedicated to it you shouldn't create it.

The Miner's hat is fixed, unfortunately I couldn't exclude it from being infinitely durable. I don't have the time to mess with it right now but at least you can use the miner's hat now.

As naraethlas said, Equipping Miner Hat will crash the client. Having infinite light source is OP anyway, if only Miner's Hat could be tagged differently so it's not included.

Everybody should need it, But i'm not really sure. As long as everyone has "auto subscribe mods" enabled in their settings you won't have to worry.

Whenever I try to equip the miner's hat, I'm taken to the warning screen and the game crashes. I would appreciate any help with that.

This mod doesn't modify anything about clicking, and those mechanics probably aren't even part of the LUA code. This mod affects the prefab files: "hats," "sweatervest," and "trunkvest." The code regarding the clicking mechanics is probably part of the C++ engine

Okay, your mod was in conflict with the mod "status annoncement" (i think this mod bug)

EDIT: I tried recreating the problem ingame, spawned farm, planted seeds. Mouse clicks were normal. It must be something else causing your problem
